Fresh from performing in the USA, Australian band, The Buckleys, have signed an international record deal with burgeoning Aussie independent label, Golden Robot Records.
After achieving many accolades including two American Songwriting Awards and performing to crowds of up to 60,000 people at Sydney Carols In The Domain, Byron Bay Bluesfest, Tamworth Country Music Festival (Main Stage & Capital Theatre), The Australian Academy of Country Music and many others, The Buckleys are excited to be heading back to the USA yet again in 2016.
Consisting of Sarah Grace Buckley (17yo – Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar), Molly Buckley (14yo – Vocals, Mandolin), and Lachlan Buckley (15yo – Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar), the young family act will be returning to Nashville on November 20, set to meet with numerous Nashville publishing and management companies to secure representation. They are booked to play the "Emerging Artist" spot at Music City Roots on December 14 in Franklin, Tennessee, which is due to be broadcast on American Public TV and radio as well as via many other outlets across the world.
Whilst in Nashville, they will again be co-writing with numerous award-winning hit songwriters to add to their already impressive catalogue of songs and scripts for a product release early in the new year through Golden Robot Records/Social Family Records, (a subsidiary of Golden Robot Entertainment).
The Buckleys have previously co-written with numerous #1 hit writers in Nashville including the Grammy nominated Rafe Van Hoy (Golden Ring–Alan Jackson & Lee Ann Womack/George Straight & Martina McBride), Jim Photoglo (Fishing in the dark–Nitty Gritty Dirt Band/Garth Brooks) and Debby Throckmorton (Sony ATV and Carnival Music).
