The life and music of Stevie Wright and The Easybeats

Starring Scott McRae

Bringing to the stage Australian rock music history.

NEVER BEFORE HAS THE STORY BEEN TOLD.  LIVE ON STAGE

Scott McRae stars in this first ever production depicting the life and music of Stevie Wright and the Easybeats.

This upbeat LIVE Rockumentary takes the audience on a journey from the beat of the 60’s to the hard and heady days of the 70’s and 80’s. Australian music history was made with hits such as Friday on My Mind, She’s so Fine, Evie, Sorry, Goodtimes, Make You Happy and many more and has been selling out and receiving standing ovations!!

Big Screen interviews specifically filmed for the production with people such as Angry Anderson, Jon English, Snowy Fleet, Kevin Borich and a cast of others who have a story to share. Scott McRae fronts an awesome live band, singing the hits and telling the story that will rock your heart and soul and have you dancing in your seats.

“Love this concept, Scotty.. Man! You sound great!” Stevie Wright 2011

Wow... and wow again. In the beginning my wife and I were blown away. Ten minutes in and we didn't want the night to end. Scott McRae you epitomise showmanship. It was like watching 'This is your Life' on steroids. Fantastic bloody job!

Steve Hughes thrilled audience member 2012

Truthful and moving, yet retaining a loyalty to the man and the music, this musical concert with a difference captures, songs, stories, images and interviews especially filmed for this production.

Scott McRae has an extensive background in live performance, television and all areas of the entertainment industry, starring in high profile TV programs such as E-Street, Sea Patrol, Water Rats, All Saints and the hit children’s programs, VIDIOT, Now You See It and Download. In addition to the above, Scott has been a musician from the age of 11 and has a musical background performing internationally in the lead role of Rum Tum Tugger in Andrew Lloyd Webbers ‘CATS’, among many others.
