Today we entered the land of trucks and country music and there was plenty of both on offer!
Throw in the children's rides, the various displays and you have the makings of a great family day out but a lot people just turn up for what the Best in Country music has to offer and this year was no different.
Then came “The Wolfe Brothers” who were on Australia’s Got Talent in 2012. These guys know how to seriously entertain and their infectious enthusiasm shone through. They played some of their own songs such as “Hi Viz Anthem” and “That Kind of Night” to covers of AC/DC’s “Long way to the Top" and The Dingoes “Way Out West”. These guys are so good it is hard to believe that they were only part timers prior to appearing on AGT.
One of the highlights of the day was when McAlister Kemp invited The Wolfe Brothers to join them for “Sweet Home Alabama”. The stage exploded with music and chaos ensued! The antics on stage rubbed off on the crowd who were loving every minute of it. The mutual respect the two bands have for each other was obvious from this performance and the fun evident on their smiling faces.
