JIMMY BARNES Withdraws from Promo Commitments Next Week Due to Doctor's Orders for Complete Bed Rest

Liberation Music regret to inform that upon doctor’s advice, Jimmy Barnes has been ordered to withdraw from upcoming promotional commitments in celebration of his #1 album 30:30 Hindsight (out now through Liberation Music).

First entering hospital on September 6 for elective back surgery, Jimmy Barnes has suffered further complications and setbacks as a result and has been strongly advised by his doctors to rest.

Having now undergone surgery five times in the past eight days, Jimmy has decided to fight  them no more and has unfortunately had to agree to postpone all promotional commitments for the next ten days.

Jimmy said with typical humour:

“30 years of back breaking work broke my back! But seriously I’m incredibly grateful for the many messages I’ve received from fans and also the fantastic media support but I hate missing live shows more than anything and the doctors have told me very clearly that I need to rest before the start of the tour in two weeks’ time so that is my focus”.

This recovery time will allow Jimmy to be in the best possible position to do what he does best – bring his music to fans across the country on live stages from Albany to Warrnambool and everywhere in between! The 30:30 Hindsight tour begins on Wednesday 1 October in Shoalhaven, New South Wales and continues for the remainder of the year.

Not only do the doctors have Jimmy’s back but all of the Mushroom Group do as well – we wish him the very best for his recovery.
