BEYONCE teams with BARNARDOS AUSTRALIA to help disadvantaged Aussies

Beyoncé  encourages  fans  to  #BeyGood  with  Barnardos  Australia

  

Barnardos Australia is partnering with Beyoncé’s Mrs Carter Show World Tour and her global charity campaign #BeyGood, to help support disadvantaged Australian children and their families.

As official Australian charity partner of Beyoncé’s #BeyGood campaign, which encourages people to be kind, be charitable and #BeyGood to each other and their communities, Barnardos Australia will host a mobile donation centre at each concert venue on Beyoncé’s Australian tour.

Fans are encouraged to be a part of the #BeyGood movement and bring clothing articles to the concerts to help Barnardos support children and families in need. Donated clothing Items will be distributed nationally to disadvantaged families in their local communities through Barnardos Australia and their network of local community groups, charities and individuals.

Barnardos Australia is one of Australia’s leading child protection charities and works with families and communities facing issues such as violence, poverty, mental illness and homelessness to keep children safe at home. Barnardos extensive range of services include, family and domestic violence support, mental health support, emergency accommodation, parent education, counselling, foster care and adoption.

“Many disadvantaged people in our community are struggling to care for their children and Barnardos works to support these families in crisis through our range of programs and services” said Louise Voigt, CEO of Barnardos Australia. “We’re proud that Beyoncé is using her platform to share the positive impact Barnardos has on local communities. We are incredibly grateful for her support of Barnardos.”

Donors and visitors to the Barnardos Australia mobile donation site will also have a chance to win surprise gifts from Beyoncé including an official #BeyGood t-shirt, a personally autographed photo or even potentially selected to have their seat upgraded.
