An open letter to ANGELS fans from DOC NEESON and BUZZ BIDSTRUP

No Heaven in The Angels Hell ………

A war of words has broken out on Facebook as loyal fans voice their support for their favourite Angels.

Rock Club 40 has received the following message from band members Doc Neeson and Buzz Bidstrup regarding  The Angels.

Please note the opinions expressed in this article are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrators of Rock Club 40.

For those who do not already know, the group touring in Nov/Dec under the guise of The Angels is not the “real” Angels. Please be advised that neither Doc Neeson or Buzz Bidstrup will be on stage at any performance advertised as The Angels in Nov/Dec 2011.  We take no pleasure in having to set the record straight in this public way but we feel we owe it to you, our fans to know the truth.

It has been said that lead singer and frontman Doc Neeson and drummer Buzz Bidstrup have resigned and are no longer willing to play in the band.  This is not true. Please be assured that neither Doc Neeson or Buzz Bidstrup have left the band or intend leaving the band.

The tour being undertaken by three members under the name "The Angels" is being done expressly against the wishes of Doc and Buzz, who have a different vision for The Angels tours and our fans.  When the current tour was proposed, we (Doc and Buzz ) felt we could give our fans a different and better experience of an Angels show than the tour as suggested.  We felt it was best for the band and the fans, that we did something more than just another round of pub gigs.

The tour directly contravenes an agreement made between the five original members, Doc Neeson, Buzz Bidstrup, Chris Bailey and John and Rick Brewster when we reunited in 2008 to tour and celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1978 Face to Face album.

Beware of Imitations……..

The Angels ain’t The Angels when they’re NOT The Angels.

No way get F%#&#D F*^k off !
