THE WOLFE BROTHERS announce 2016 tour 'This Crazy Life' tour with a mini fest of the hot new wave of country music!

THE WOLFE BROTHERS ANNOUNCE 2016 NATIONAL TOUR

AS THEIR NEW ALBUM THIS CRAZY LIFE GOES STRAIGHT TO #1

ON THE ITUNES COUNTRY CHART

A MINI FESTIVAL OF THE HOT NEW WAVE OF COUNTRY MUSIC HEADLINED BY THE WOLFE BROTHERS AND FEATURING GORD BAMFORD (CANADA), CAITLYN SHADBOLT, TROY KEMP, CHRISTIE LAMB, CRAIG HEATH AND JODY DIREEN (NZ)

As Australia’s popular country rockers The Wolfe Brothers release their third album This Crazy Life, the Tassie boys are also gearing up for a massive national tour with a difference, to hit the road this October. This Crazy Life, released on June 3, went straight to #1 on the iTunes Country Chart. To celebrate the release of the album, Stephen White Productions along with CMC, have put together a tour that is a travelling country music festival, showcasing the best of the new wave of country music.

Stephen White says the tour will feature seven acts from three countries for one night only in each of the tour cities. “The new wave of Australian country music artists needs a platform to connect with the Australian public,” he says. “We are behind the times with the public’s perception of what country music is. In America country music is a force to be reckoned with and every city, large and small, has at least one country music radio station. In fact there are more country radio stations than pop or rock stations in the USA. Country music has such a broad appeal across America that it is common for country artists to fill football and baseball stadiums regularly in huge urban centres like New York, Boston, and Chicago. Country music is massive business in America due to its broad appeal in all demographics.”

Stephen says the mini travelling festival will showcase what is happening in modern country music. “The idea is to entice people to come and experience the energy and excitement that The Wolfe Brothers deliver and to also check out these other artists, all of whom are incredibly talented performers,” he says. “The music is exciting, the songs connect with people and my view is that in many cases it is rock music with a storyline. It is music for the masses. Check it out folks.”

The This Crazy Life Tour will feature The Wolfe Brothers, Gord Bamford (Canada), Caitlyn Shadbolt, Troy Kemp, Christie Lamb, Jody Direen (NZ) and Craig Heath.

The Wolfe Brothers – Tour headliners The Wolfe Brothers will be returning home for these shows after a four-month tour of the USA. The band is CMC's 2016 Group Of The Year and with the release of what many describe as a world-class album This Crazy Life, they are getting closer to breaking into the international market. The Wolfe Brothers are signed to ABC Music and are revered as one of the best country rock bands in Australia.

Gord Bamford – Gord Bamford is an international country star harking from Canada. He is a multi-award winner, who over the last 10 years has dominated the charts and the awards in Canada. He is the current Male Artist Of The Year (Canada) and has won 22 Juno Awards throughout his illustrious career. On June 17 Gord will release his first Australian album – Tin Roof – through ABC Music.  The album has already hit #1 in Canada and the first two singles from it also went to #1. This tour will fulfill an important personal goal for Gord – he was born in Traralgon Victoria, his dad lives in Brisbane, and he has always wanted to bring his music to his birth country. He can now tick that box.

Caitlyn Shadbolt – Australia fell in love with Caitlyn when she was voted into the X Factor Top 5 in 2014. She is CMC's 2016 Best New Talent and is continually growing her fan base through her live shows and her hit singles and videos. Caitlyn is signed to ABC Music.

Troy Kemp – One of Australia’s most recognizable country music talents, Troy was formerly one half of the hit-making, award-winning duo McAlister Kemp. Troy is now travelling solo and has recently released his first solo album Against The Grain.

Christie Lamb – Christie is the current CMAA Golden Guitar winner for Best New Talent.  She has spent the past year touring with Australian country music legend Lee Kernaghan. Christie is a talented singer-songwriter who is currently recording her second album.

Jody Direen – Jody is New Zealand’s 2016 Female Artist Of The Year. She has caught the eye of ABC Music from her performances at the last two CMC Rocks QLD Festivals. Jody, who is a household name in New Zealand country music, is getting ready to base herself in Australia.  Jody is signed to ABC Music.

Craig Heath – Craig is the newest signing to ABC Music. His yet to be released album features four songs from the internationally acclaimed hit writing team of Keith Urban and Monty Powell. He also has a duet with the legendary Rick Springfield on his currently untitled forthcoming CD. Craig Heath is a bit of a mystery right now, but all will be revealed with the release of his first single in August.

Don't miss this unique and explosive night of today’s country music featuring the very best from Australia, Canada and New Zealand. In a rare experience, audiences will experience dynamic country music from seven artists, harking from three countries, all on the one bill, for one night only. This indoor mini festival will feature the latest music from a red hot line up of these exciting artists who are the faces and the sound of modern country music. Jump on board and come along for the ride. It will be fun!
