St Peters Lane is the latest single from THE SUPERJESUS and has been taken from their forthcoming EP. It’s a guitar-laden track that draws from Sarah McLeod’s real-life experience living on the edge of St Peters Lane, a decades-old workplace for transvestite prostitutes.
Written by Sarah McLeod and bassist Stuart Rudd, the song explores a different kind of content for the band.
"St Peters Lane is about celebrating the fearlessness and guts that these women have. I admire them for their courage in the face of adversity, and their ability to do it night after night whilst making it look fun, and I wanted to re-create their tongue-in-cheek attitude in the video,” said Sarah McLeod. “I live amongst them and call some of them friends. I know a bit about what they go through and how hard they work to overcome discrimination. ”
A highly addictive rock track, St Peters Lane, possesses every signature element of a SUPERJESUS smash.
