SOCIAL FAMILY RECORDS AND JASON OWEN TO DONATE PROFITS FROM EVERY SALE OF “PROUD” VIA ITUNES FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF MARCH TO THE SIR IVAN BUSHFIRE APPEAL

LATEST SINGLE GOOD FOR YOU AT RADIO NOW

Following the recent devastating bushfires burning out of control in western NSW, country music artist,Jason Owen, who grew up in the region, immediately put up his hand to be involved in donating to assist those affected by the devastation, and in support, Social Family Records will match his donation, with profits from every sale of his album, “Proud” via iTunes from 1st to 14th March, 2017, going to theSir Ivan Bushfire Appeal.

The Sir Ivan fire has so far burnt through 50,000+ hectares, all but wiping the small village of Uarbry off the map, claimed numerous homes, livestock, buildings and other farming machinery and assets have been destroyed.  Funds raised will help the locals and farmers get back on their feet with the basic essentials, as well as helping them get back to work and assisting with their livestock.

Jason recently released the 4th single from his “Proud” album – Good For You – which was written by Clive Young.  It’s an upbeat, good times, “get your boots on” track, showcasing Jason’s outstanding ability to deliver a country song in all its might.

The official music video was also released in early February – check it out below.

Proud, Jason Owen’s 3rd album, was released in May 2016, with the first two singles Run and Proud(featuring Christine Anu), solidly supported at country radio and by CMC, with Run coming in as the 10thmost played country track for 2016.  Jason has also recently been nominated for New Oz Artist of the Year for the 2017 CMC Awards.  His career on the rise, another album is slated for release mid this year.
