COBAIN: MONTAGE OF HECK - Yours on Blu-‐ray™ & DVD from June 4!

Since  its  premiere  at  the  Sundance  Film  Festival  in  January,  Cobain:  Montage  of  Heck  by  Oscar-‐ nominated  filmmaker  Brett  Morgen  (“Crossfire  Hurricane,  “The  Kid  Stays  In  The  Picture)  has received a phenomenal response from fans and critics alike, and from June 4 it can be yours on Blu-‐ ray and DVD.

Morgen received unprecedented access to Cobains personal and family archives by the late rocker’s estate. The bonus features on the Cobain: Montage of Heck Bluray and DVD releases include:

  • Interview with Kurt’s father Don Cobain
  • Interview with Director Brett Morgen
  • Trailer

Cobain’s mother kept an incredible amount of childhood videos and family photographs, and with Kurt himself keeping a vast array of artwork, photography and journals, writer/director/producer Brett Morgen has been able to create a visual feast that is cleverly enhanced with additional animation by Hisko Hulsing.

Morgen weaves together moving firstperson testimony from Cobains mother and sister, his widow, Courtney  Love,  former  girlfriend  Tracy  Marander,  exbandmate  Krist  Novoselic  and  others  with Cobains own words in the first fully authorised feature documentary on Kurt Cobain. Eight years in the making, COBAIN: MONTAGE OF HECK chronicles the life of the legendary musician through a lifetime’s worth of work.
