Their first single ‘It’s a Start’ was met with a great response, climbing to respectable heights on radio indie charts after receiving airplay on both local and overseas stations. Legendary music producer, Steve James, mixed and produced 'When I'm Gone' after falling in love with the demo tracks. The respect Steve retains as a producer in the recording industry, is second to none. In Terms of artists in Australia, Steve has worked with The Screaming Jets, Cold Chisel, Mental as Anything, Superjesus, Skunkhour, The Rumjacks and The Angels. The second single 'When I'm Gone' is a track about the hard decisions some people have to make over lifestyle and love. The question is does she leave because of his less than desirable lifestyle or is she the cause of his self-imposed destruction? Either way he still thinks that she will miss him when he totally destroys himself and, moves on to another world. Delusions of grandeur fuelled by Jack and yet another beer. The album 'When I'm Gone' offers an overall rock genre that is massaged with heavy country and great story-telling amongst, its' straight out rock n' roll tunes. The bands philosophy has always been that it takes more than just good musicianship to make a brilliant album. The ten tracks slated tell stories, touch hearts, fill souls and keep the pulse racing. Blow are: Tony Townsend (Vocals), Claude Poffandi (guitar and Vocals), Robert Poffandi (Guitar and Vocals), Lou Amato (Bass) and Curtis Martin (Drums). Blow continues to perform live and offer crowds, good old fashioned 'Aussie Pub Rock', as they delight in sharing its music with audiences all over the world and they continue to write new music and keep 'Rock' alive.
