The wait is finally over!
The eagerly-awaited double-headline tour with CYNDI LAUPER and BLONDIE kicks off tomorrow with the first a day on the green show in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
The two iconic artists perform five a day on the green events and arena shows (Frontier Touring) at Sydney’s ICC Theatre on April 4 and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on April 6 before heading to New Zealand. As co-headliners, the bands will alternate in closing the shows.
Along with all their greatest hits, BLONDIE will showcase tracks from their brand new album Pollinator (out May 5, Liberator Music/BMG), including the new single ‘Long Time’, while CYNDI LAUPER features songs from her most recent and acclaimed album Detour.
Cyndi Lauper and Deborah Harry are undoubtedly two of rock’s most captivating performers, and with both greatly loved by Australian fans, the tour is certainly one to savour!
Playing to almost 9000 fans in the Hunter Valley on Saturday, the tour moves to Sirromet Wines, QLD on Sunday for a sold-out show to 11,000 fans. The a day on the green shows will boast an equally impressive undercard with The Clouds reforming especially for the tour and exciting new talents Montaigne and Alex Lahey.
